Summary
Home Redesign AI turns a photo of a room, garden or house exterior into a redesigned image. To do that we need your photo, a way to know who you are, and a way to count free and paid use. We do not show ads, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
Who we are
The controller of your data is Uğur Ozan Yıldız, Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, Türkiye ("we", "us"). You can reach us at homeredesign@uozanyildiz.dev. This policy covers the Home Redesign AI iOS app and this website.
Data we collect

The app asks for permission to use your camera (to take a photo of your space) and to add images to your Photos (to save your designs). It does not read your photo library beyond the pictures you select. Server logs created by our hosting may include technical data such as your IP address.
Free generation and your device
Every device gets one free generation. To enforce that, we store a device-level flag that says the free generation was used. This flag belongs to the device, not to your account. It stays when you delete your account and when you delete and reinstall the app. Deleting your account cannot give you another free generation on the same device.
Why we use your data
- To provide the service you asked for: sign-in, generating and storing your designs, subscriptions. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To prevent abuse of the free generation, to apply fair use limits, and to keep the service secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To measure usage and fix errors. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). The app asks you once, collects nothing until you agree, and you can withdraw at any time in the app under Account, Analytics.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules.
For Turkish users, the same purposes are processed under the conditions of KVKK Article 5, including that processing is necessary for a contract and for our legitimate interests.
Who receives your data
We share data only with service providers that help us run the app. They act on our instructions.
- fal.ai, the third-party image generation provider. Your photo, your chosen options and any text you typed are sent to it to create the result. We turn on the provider's safety checker for these requests. We do not send your Apple identifier to the provider.
- PostHog (EU region), for analytics and error tracking.
- OpenRouter, which runs a safety classifier on the text you type before we create an image. Only the text is sent, not your photos or your Apple identifier.
- Adapty, to manage subscriptions and entitlement, together with Apple, which processes payments and Sign in with Apple.
- Our hosting and storage provider, which stores your account data, photos and generated images: Contabo GmbH, in a data centre in Lauterbourg, France.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep data
- Uploaded photos (inputs): deleted after 30 days.
- Generated images (outputs): kept until you delete them in the app or delete your account.
- Account data, favorites and usage counts: kept until you delete your account.
- Device-level free generation flag: kept as described above, so the free allowance cannot be reset.
- Analytics and error reports: kept for 12 months.
- Data held by providers: the image generation provider and others keep data under their own policies. Ask us if you want details.
Delete your account and data
You can delete your account in the app under Account > Delete account. This removes your account, your designs and your stored files, and revokes the Sign in with Apple token for the app. It cannot be undone. Deleting a single design from your library removes its files. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel that in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Your rights and how to use them
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the authority in your EU country or the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK). Under KVKK Article 11 you may also ask whether your data is processed and to whom it is transferred.
Deleting your account in the app covers most requests. For anything else, email homeredesign@uozanyildiz.dev. We may need to confirm that you control the account, and we will answer within one month.
International transfers
Some of our providers are outside your country, including the United States. When personal data of people in the EEA, the UK or Turkey is transferred abroad, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where available. Adapty relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses in its data processing agreement. PostHog stores the data of EU users in Frankfurt. fal.ai and OpenRouter are based in the United States and process data there under contractual safeguards.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Our image provider key is kept on our server and is never in the app. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Children
Home Redesign AI is not directed to children under 13, and not to anyone under 16 where local law sets 16 as the age of digital consent. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the account.
Advertising and tracking
We do not run ads, we do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The app does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
AI generated content
Images are created by an AI model. We do not use your photos to train our own models. Providers' own terms apply to how they handle data sent to them. fal.ai's privacy policy does not say that it trains models on what you send. Adapty's agreement only allows it to use data to provide its service. For the text safety check, OpenRouter's terms apply to the text we send it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above and, where it matters, tell you in the app. Please check this page from time to time.
